Game maker tileset
After I realized that, I had already deleted it. So I had essentially disected that back-up trying to recover the original without thinking to start up the back-up. Originally I had dragged and dropped the data files from the back-up to the main folder and, like I said, that worked for everything but the tileset data. Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it. If you help me I'll be eternally grateful! This is the most important thing going on in my life right now, which may seem sad, but it's true. If there is anyone out there that can help me solve my problem without re-investing dozens of hours of work into it, PLEASE help me. I hate for something this horrible to happen with this problem, as I truly love the GUI and ease-of-use, but this is very frustrating. If this is not resolved, I will have thousands of upset fans at my throat. I beg u to help, I'm extremely pissed off and upset! If this is not fixed, I'll have to inform my friend (with almost 100,000 subs on YouTube and 25,000 likes on Facebook), whom I was making the game specifically for her new EP, to kind of hype it up a little, and she had already started spreading publicity about it, that the game has to be canceled because there is no way I can recreate everything all over again in time for the EP to drop. I have no idea why the error won't go away, or how I'm supposed to fix it, so hopefully someone out there can give me advice. No matter what I do the error will not go away, and I don't have any more ideas! I replaced that tileset (know a perfect copy of my old one) into the old project, it STILL popped up the error. After doing that same thing in another project, then saving it. The only thing I recall doing to the tiles was change the invisible tile so that I could walk on it. I'm not using ANY custom tilesets, only default ones, but it seems it doesn't want to read ANY tileset files no matter what I do. I've replaced the file almost a dozen times now with new files from brand new projects that work perfectly, however the error keeps recurring! I continued to swap out the corrupt files from my back-up file, as I had read online, however when I reached the "Failed to Load Tileset Data" error it wouldn't go away.

I was able to fix that by copying and pasting it from my back-up folder (which hadn't been update for ~5 hours) at the direction of other forums. That worked, but it popped up more errors. It just wouldn't feel the same.Īfter it restarted, I tried opening my project but it popped up the error "Failed to Load Actor Data". This project is very important to me, and I've spent 10-20 hours working on it and I am NOT willing to completely recreate everything from scratch! It would take way too long, be a waste of time, and, even if I didn't, it would be completely different.
#Game maker tileset plus#
My laptop restarted randomly today while it was charging because it was low on battery (even though it was almost 40% charged plus plugged in and charging, but that's a different problem) while I was working on an RPG Maker VX Ace project. So DO NOT refer me to any other forums, because I already know that they're problems are completely different and the "solutions" do not work for me. Before you start reading, please know I've already searched through all available forums for the solution, and none of the things that worked for others have worked for me.
